Composer and sound designer Louis Palfrey will be leading a series of four standalone workshops in digital sound recording and production for beginners.

This first session will be a basic introduction to digital recording and production terminology and basic field recording including demonstrations and practical exercises.

For each workshop, you will need to bring a laptop, headphones, a device to record sound on such as mobile phone or portable microphone. You will also need to install a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation recording software) prior to the session.
